As the weather in the UK heats up it can be hard to find a balance between shorts and trousers, as well as formal and informal clothes.
However, culottes are a popular style that works for any occasion, whether that is for the office, a garden party, or even a more glamorous affair.
They are a super versatile wardrobe staple, as they can be paired with trainers and a t-shirt, or heels.
There is one style in particular that is on our radar - Marks and Spencer’s Polka Dot Wide Leg Cropped Trousers, which come in black with white spots and white with black print.
Buy it: Polka Dot Wide Leg Cropped Trousers | £19.50 from Marks and Spencer
Why we love it
M&S’ culottes were first released in white with black polka dot print, but swiftly sold out.
But due to popular demand the cropped printed trouser has been restocked, and released in a second colourway, which is black with white polka dots.
The design feature a high waist band, which is flattering around the waist, as well as wide cropped legs, which will ensure you feel cooler when the weather heats up.
It also boasts three-button fastening at the front of the culottes, as well as side pocket feature.
The Polka Wide Leg Cropped Trousers are available to buy in sizes 6 to 24.
What we love most is that they are super affordable and retail for £19.50 from Marks & Spencer.
