The star, whose single Man I Am features in the film’s soundtrack, certainly made a statement with their look which featured a 16 XL emblazoned jumper and wide-legged jeans from the Vetements spring-summer 2024 collection.

Sharing a series of images of the night to Instagram, Smith captioned the shots simply: "16 XL Barbie".

Fans were somewhat divided by the look, with some believing it fell too much outside the typical aesthetic.

Never one to keep it low-key on a red carpet, Smith has had their fair share of viral looks this year. Back in February their latex balloon body suit was hailed by many as THE most iconic look of the Brits red carpet.

And at this year's Grammy's the artist caused quite a stir arriving with an entourage, including RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Violet Chachki and Gottmik, and sporting a head-to-toe red ensemble, complete with an oversized cape, top hat, cane and red mesh over their eyes.
