Mooncat Collaborates With ‘The Powerpuff Girls’ on Character-inspired Nail Polish Collection
Mooncat has partnered with Cartoon Network’s “The Powerpuff Girls” on a new nail polish collection featuring six of the brand’s bestselling Jelly Flakie Lacquers in character-inspired hues of pink, purple, green, red, black and blue.
The polishes, named after recurring characters and popular motifs from the show — Forces of Evil, Don’t Cry, Bubbles, Blossom’s Firebreath, Chemical X, Hardcore Buttercup and The Diabolical Mojo Jojo — are crafted with a buildable formula that can be custom-layered for either a semi-sheer or opaque look. These formulated lacquers are additionally crafted with a combination of multicolored, color-shifting, iridescent flakes and several types of holographic glitter.

The collection will officially launch on Friday at 9 a.m. ET on mooncat.com. All of the Mooncat x “The Powerpuff Girls” Jelly Flakie Lacquers will be available to purchase individually for $15 each or in a limited edition collector’s boxed set, which will include all six polishes in addition to a set of character-themed nail art stickers for $102.
Since Mooncat’s launch in 2021, the brand has teamed up with a number of other characters on newly inspired products and fan-favorite releases. Mooncat’s most recent partnerships include a collaboration with Disney, using the corporation’s “Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Alice in Wonderland” imagery for a collection of standard and glow-and-the-dark nail lacquers in bold colorways.
Mooncat offers a selection of 100 percent vegan, cruelty-free nail polishes handcrafted in the U.S.
