Molly-Mae's dream wedding legit features... Harry Potter?!
It's been a difficult year for Molly-Mae Hague.
The influencer and entrepreneur, who rocketed to fame on Love Island, has been frank about the toll that her breakup with Tommy Fury has had on her mental health and the pressures of raising a child in the spotlight.
There has been huge speculation into her private life, after the breakup was announced in August.
"Never in a million years did I ever think I'd have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end," she wrote at the time on her IG story.
The wording of the announcement ("especially not this way") led to online rumours of cheating, which were debunked when Tommy himself bravely opened up about his struggles with alcohol and the toll it took on his and Molly-Mae's relationship.
After all the online and tabloid conjecture, Molly-Mae has been able to set the record straight with her Prime Video documentary Molly-Mae: Behind it All. The first three episodes just dropped, with further episodes to come later in the year, and are filled with revelations.
One surprising detail we can't stop thinking about? Molly-Mae's thoughts on what an ideal wedding looks like to her.
Back in November, she opened up to British Vogue about the pressure to have a "big Instagram moment" wedding.
"Was I planning a big wedding because I wanted that image of a big wedding and the beautiful photographs and that moment that everyone would have expected from us on social media? Probably," she said.
"Would I be more confident now, after everything that’s happened and learning even more about myself, to say, actually, that doesn’t even make me happy, screw the big Instagram moment, I’m going to do it this way? Definitely.”
Now, thanks to her documentary, we've finally got further insight into what Molly-Mae's perfect wedding looks like, and it sounds adorable!
“If I was planning my perfect wedding now, it would be a vicar comes to my house while Harry Potter is on in the background,” she explains in the documentary.
“Some snacks on the table and the vicar just marries us while we’re sat on the sofa in our pyjamas, then get a bath and an early night.”
