Model Grace Elizabeth welcomes first child

Grace Elizabeth is a new mother.

The American model, who has starred in campaigns for the likes of Estee Lauder and Guess, took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce that she and her husband Nicolas Krause welcomed a son named Noah earlier this year.

Alongside a black-and-white photograph depicting Grace baring her baby bump for Victoria's Secret's upcoming Mother's Day campaign, the 24-year-old explained that she was determined to keep her pregnancy news under wraps for as long as possible.

"I kept private about the pregnancy because I wasn't ready to share him with the world just yet; my best-kept secret," she wrote in the caption. "My husband and I really just wanted to live in those precious moments and give our unborn baby the love and attention he needed to grow without outside eyes or expectations. Just us. And it was absolutely beautiful."

Grace didn't reveal the exact date she gave birth to little Noah, who weighed six pounds and 11 ounces (three kilograms).

However, she did share that she went into labour the day after her Victoria's Secret photoshoot with photographer Cass Bird.

"During the interview of the campaign I cried and that's when it really hit me - he was on his way. After nine months of carrying him around in my belly I was finally going to hold him in my arms, look into his eyes, and hold his little hands," the blonde beauty shared. "Sure enough, as soon as I arrived on set I started having contractions, they were 10 minutes apart and by 5pm the next day Nico and I checked into the hospital where our beautiful boy was born 18 hours later."

Grace's surprise news quickly caught the attention of her celebrity followers, with the likes of Gigi Hadid, Martha Hunt, and Brandon Maxwell all posting congratulatory messages,

Grace and Nicolas became engaged in September 2019 and tied the knot in March 2020.
