US designer Misha Nonoo, who reportedly played matchmaker for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, has shared photos from their royal wedding on Instagram.

Describing the wedding as 'the happiest weekend', Nonoo also posted details of her stunning day outfit, and the striking one she wore for Harry and Meghan's evening reception.

Wearing an ice blue dress in the first photo, Nonoo wrote: 'Memories from the happiest weekend. I designed this dress using ice blue silk mikado from Taroni, one of the oldest silk mills in Lake Como, Italy.'

In the second photo, Nonoo wears a red jumpsuit, and censors out the background with red, pink and yellow stars.

'For black tie, I love wearing a jumpsuit and created this one shoulder, draped silk style in our signature red,' she added.

She also shared snaps with Suits star Abigail Spencer and of the guests' slippers, which were reportedly provided by the bride and groom to help women who'd been wearing heels all day.

The designer was rumoured to be the mutual friend who introduced Harry and Meghan after the former Suits actress was pictured in Nonoo's Easy 8 Husband shirt during her first public appearance with Harry.

Nonoo's ex-husband Alexander Gilkes is also a close friend of Harry's, and she recently holidayed with Princess Beatrice in Jordan. Harry and Meghan shared details of their first encounter in their joint interview following their engagement last year.

'We were introduced actually by a mutual friend,' said Harry, before Meghan added: 'We should protect her privacy and not reveal too much of that.'

It's also been previously reported that Violet von Westenholz - one of Prince Harry's oldest friends - set up the first date for the couple. Her aristocratic father is a former Olympic skier and close friend of the Prince Charles.

However, von Westenholz declined to confirm the claims, telling The Telegraph: 'I might leave that for other people to say [who it is].

'It's a great story and I am sure they are going to be very happy together. I am just happy they are really happy. They are great together.'

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan are delaying their honeymoon and will mark their first royal engagement as Duke and Duchess at the Queen's garden party this afternoon.
