Michelle Heaton asked Vicky Pattison for advice before taking part in Celebrity SAS

Michelle Heaton got in touch with celebrity pals Vicky Pattison and Jeff Brazier to ask them about their time on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins before taking part.

Michelle, 44, is part of the latest series of the show that pushes household names to their limits as they are trained by former SAS soldiers.

Matt Hancock, Gareth Gates, James 'Arg' Argent and Danielle Lloyd are among the other contestants.

"I went on SAS to prove to myself that, no matter what I've been through - and I've been through quite a lot - I can be this strong woman," the mum of two told New magazine. "And I've realised I can be a strong woman without actually being perfect for SAS!

"I spoke to people who had been on it before like Vicky Pattison, Jeff Brazier and Jake Quickenden, so I knew it was going to be intense. But you can't prepare yourself for something like this - it's on a different level."

Earlier this year, the Liberty X singer celebrated two years of sobriety.

A source told The Sun of the star, "She has gone through so much in her personal life because of her struggle with alcoholism but she wants to prove to herself how far she has come."

Michelle gushed to New magazine: "I'm feeling amazing. I'm so free now and it's a place I dreamed of getting to."
