Her first appearance since introducing baby Archie to the world was always going to get people excited.

But Meghan Markle’s day out at Trooping the Colour yesterday had eagle-eyed royal fans even more delighted after they spotted a new piece of jewellery on her ‘ring’ finger.

The Duchess of Sussex wore a third ring alongside her engagement and wedding rings.

It has lead to suggestions the 37-year-old new mum has received a ‘push present’ from husband Prince Harry following the birth of their first child in early May.

A ‘push present’ is one sometimes given to women, shortly after they have given birth, by a partner.

Many believe Meghan has been given an eternity ring, which usually consists of many small diamonds covering the entire band.

Prince William gave Kate Middleton an eternity ring following the birth of Prince George.

For yesterday’s outing, the Duchess of Sussex looked stylish in a navy blue ensemble by Givenchy with a matching navy cocktail hat.

Meghan accessorised with a peacock blue Givenchy quilted bag and emerald-cut earrings.

She finished off her look with an elegant up-do and natural make-up.

Meghan initially covered up the rings with a pair of leather gloves, which she then removed for the short carriage ride from Horse Guards Parade to Buckingham Palace.

The Duchess sat beside the Duke of Sussex, and opposite the Duchess of Cambridge, with Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall also riding with the trio.

It is the mum-of-one’s first official public appearance since she welcomed her little boy on May 6th.

Days after he arrived, his parents showed him off to the world at a photocall at Windsor Castle.

On May 19th, the Duke and Duchess celebrated their first wedding anniversary.

Many believe Harry might have given his wife the eternity ring on this romantic occasion.
