As anticipation for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix docuseries, Harry and Meghan, builds, one item featured in the trailer has caught shopper’s eyes.

The trailer for the six-part series, which promises to share the “other side” of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s story, sees a tearful Meghan sitting in an armchair as she speaks to the camera.

Behind her, eagle-eyed viewers noticed that there is a white and beige Hermès “Avalon” Blanket emblazoned with the letter “H” on it, causing searches for the blanket to skyrocket in the days after the trailer dropped.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, searches for “Hermès blanket” on Google increased by 500%, while searches for “Hermès blanket price” jumped by 850% after the trailer was released.

The blanket, which is made from 90% merino wool and 10% cashmere is from Hermès’ 1988 collection, and retails for £1,260 on its site, but it is currently sold out.

While viewers may get more of a glimpse inside the pair's home when the documentary is released on December 8, readers of The Cut were given a glimpse into the interiors of the pair’s Montecito mansion after Meghan did an interview with the magazine in August.

The publication revealed that Harry and Meghan share an office, where “two plush club chairs placed side by side behind a single desk, facing into the room like thrones”.

The sitting room has a grand piano, the garden has palm trees, and the lounge has cosy chains and a Soho House rose water candle (£80).

“The Montecito house is the kind of big that startles you into remembering that unimaginable wealth is actually someone’s daily reality,” The Cut noted.

Meghan said in the interview that their home is “calm and healing” and that, in it, she “feels free”.
