Last week Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a surprise appearance in Belfast, despite reports that they'd take a break from official engagements until after the wedding.

As usual, people went nuts over Meghan's look, especially her velvet Jimmy Choo shoes and yet another statement bag of dreams.

But what we didn't realise, is that the bag may have carried more meaning (geddit) than we first thought.

Aside from the fact that it is basically the more adorable handbag we've ever seen, it is also made by a designer who has ties to the Royal Family.

Designed by Brit Charlotte Elizabeth, Meghan chose to support a small business that actually first got its footing through The Prince’s Trust. Charlotte learned how to set up a business through a course run by Prince Charles' charity, which helped her get to where she is today.

By wearing one of her designs, Meghan not only demonstrates that she champions young British designers, but also shows her support to her father-in-law's charitable endeavours.

Unsurprisingly, the bag is now completely sold out.

The trip to Belfast was also the first time since being engaged to Prince Harry that it appears the actress has recycled an item of clothing, too. She first wore that cream Victoria Beckham jumper in her official engagement pictures. Big day for Meghan.
