Marks & Spencer's new duvet coat will see you through the winter
When the temperature drops, we turn to our favourite duvet coats to keep us warm in the cold winter months. Duvet coats are typically longline padded or quilted puffer jackets – and they're a favourite with fashion editors and influencers alike. Easy to throw-on, whether you're heading for a walk with friend or to the office, they have style in spades but will keep you warm in the winter chill.
Yet to invest in a cosy duvet coat to cocoon yourself in this winter? We've got good news. Marks & Spencer has just dropped a new style for the season ahead, and it's gone straight to the top of our wish list. Unlike many of the duvet coats out there, M&S' style doesn't follow the classic longline design. It's a great option if a short quilted jacket is missing from your current repertoire.
The Thermowarmth Stormwear Quilted Duvet Coat is padded with thermal wadding to keep you cosy, without feeling or looking too bulky. A lot of duvet coats out there aren't waterproof or water-resistant, but M&S' style is finished with the brand's signature Stormwear technology to keep you dry in showers too. Plus, the fleece-lined pockets are a saviour for keeping cold hands toasty warm on winter walks. The season essential is available in two colours, although we rate the chic beige named Fawn version.

The duvet coat is available in sizes 6 to 24, and at the time of writing is in stock in all sizes online. It's marked as 'selling fast' on the M&S website though, so may not be around for long...
