Marks & Spencer's £45 check dress taps into a big 2025 trend
With the January sales underway, you'd be forgiven for skipping the new-in sections in favour of some feel-good bargains. But with Marks & Spencer, this would be an error, as we've just stumbled upon our new dress of the season – and it'll only set you back £45. That's less than many sales buys! Not only that, but the style in question is giving us major designer vibes...
M&S' black and white check dress has been added to baskets more than a hundred times in the last 48 hours alone, making it the second bestselling dress on the website right now (the first is this jersey column dress). Cute but chic, it features an on-trend ruffled neckline and two bow ties, while long sleeves make it winter-appropriate.
Despite its affordable price tag, this dress reminds us of cult check styles by Scandi brand GANNI and Ukrainian brand Sleeper. Plus, check is set to be one of the It prints for 2025, after popping up on many a spring/summer runway, from Bottega Veneta to The Row.
