Mario Falcone, who shot to fame as the slick lothario on 'The Only Way Is Essex' has revealed that he would quit the show if it meant winning Lucy Mecklenburgh back.
The notorious love rat starred on the show with his ex-fiancée who he split from last summer – but believes the pair have a special bond worth saving – away from the cameras.

Speaking to Now magazine, he said: "I've said to the girl (Lucy) I'd happily leave 'TOWIE' tomorrow if she says she wants to give it another go and get back together with me.
“She's always saying she's scared and unsure because I keep getting seen with other girls, but I don't understand what I'm meant to do. She's saying she doesn't want to be with me or speak to me again, then she gets in contact.
“I'm meant to be waiting for her and proved I've changed, but at the same time I'm not allowed to talk to anyone else and she doesn't want to be with me?”
He described the situation as “very confusing," perhaps all the more so now, as he's rumoured to be hooking up with model, Shelby Billingham.

But his latest admission may have proved his commitment to the former TOWIE babe, with Mario convinced that the pair would still be together if their relationship had played out off-camera.
Talking about quitting the show, he added: "[If I quit we] can be a normal couple. When you go home and close the door, whatever happens behind closed doors is private and for you two only, not millions of people. It makes things easier."
But who knows if the tumultuous couple will get the fairytale ending they hoped for, given their dating history.
