Mariah Carey releases merchandise to celebrate Pride Month

Mariah Carey is releasing a merchandise collection to celebrate 2021 Pride Month.

The Heartbreaker hitmaker is releasing her 13-piece athleisure line, which includes oversized tees, tank tops, hoodies and biker shorts, with designs inspired by her best-selling albums and singles.

The collection features T-shirts emblazoned with the artwork from her 1999 Rainbow album, which has Mariah on the front wearing white shorts and a white vest painted with a rainbow, while another tee is printed with a life-size graphic of the singer's body from the album.

There's also oversized T-shirts printed with the titles of her hit songs, including Loverboy and Heartbreaker, and pieces which are inspired by her 2001 musical drama Glitter, with one black tee featuring a picture of Mariah wearing a top with her character's name 'Billie' on it.

And according to Out.com the purple tie-dye Loverboy T-shirt is directly inspired by her outfit during an appearance on MTV's Total Request Live in 2001.

The collection also includes a rainbow fan, called the 'Throw Shade Fan', while there's a face mask, baseball cap and socks for sale, which feature her name, alongside her butterfly logo, in a rainbow colourway.

The Mariah Carey Pride Month merchandise collection is now available on mariahcareyshop.com, with prices ranging from $15 (£10) to $60 (£42).
