Margot Robbie's grey dress follows Hailey Bieber’s maternity style guide
Despite waiting til she was six months along in her pregnancy to announce that she and Justin Bieber were expecting their first child, Hailey Bieber treated us to many a chic maternity look. From a see-through lace catsuit to head-to-toe leather, her pregnancy style didn't actually differ all that much from her usual, day-to-day aesthetic. AKA trend-led, cool girl staples oozing quiet luxury.
Well, it seems Margot Robbie is unofficially following suit, making Mrs Bieber her pregnancy fashion icon. At least, if the actress' latest look is anything to go by.
To attend a special screening of My Old Ass, in which Margot and her husband Tom Ackerley are producers, the 34-year-old arrived in a simple grey off-the-shoulder dress that highlighted her growing baby bump. The design may have been minimal, but it was certainly chic and a fitting choice for her first red carpet appearance as a mother-to-be.
Forgoing any fussy details, the draped jersey dress featured an asymmetric neckline with a twisted strap contrasting to an off-the-shoulder sleeve. Falling to Margot's ankles, there was also a leg slit stretching up the side to her knee. All very demure, very mindful – you know the drill. She paired the look with black strappy heeled sandals, her only accessory a chunky gold chain bracelet on one wrist.
Margot was previously seen attending Wimbledon earlier this year, where she largely hid her figure beneath a draped Alaïa white polka dot dress. Another stylish choice that again echoes Hailey Beiber's own pregnancy style.
