Man who slammed women for having periods sets up GoFundMe page called ‘Stop The Blob’

The teen ‘meninist’ who said women should “control their bladders” instead of using tampons has apparently started a GoFundMe page to pay for his biology lessons.

Ryan Williams, a 19-year-old photography student, first attracted attention when he went on a rant about the tampon tax saying that women should “pay for ur [sic] own tampons if u can’t hold it until u get to a toilet. I don’t urinate everywhere and expect free nappies #selfcontrol.”

Despite some, ah, lack of knowledge in the biology department, his comments have obviously angered a lot of people.

And now, to twist the knife a little, he’s also set up a GoFundMe page entitled ‘Stop The Blob’ in order to raise money for his ‘biology lessons’.

The page reads:

“Help enable me, a young adult politics expert and brexit campaigner be able to afford to have Biology lessons. The money raised will be used to pay for lessons, however many is needed to be able to explain to understand more about womens periods, why they get so aggressive and why they’re so lazy as to hold their bladder. Any recommendations of teachers in London are appreciated. Thanks, Ryan (Politics Campaigner).”

He hopes to raise £1,000, but so far he’s earned a massive eye roll.

Since the story broke, GoFundMe has released the following statement: “Within hours this GoFundMe campaign was suspended for violating our terms of service. The campaign did not receive any donations.”
