Made in Chelsea star set to follow in ex's footsteps with a spot on Celebs Go Dating a year after split

Ready to follow in the footsteps of his ex girlfriend, Made in Chelsea star Tristan Phipps is reportedly joining the cast of this year's Celebs Go Dating.

Tristan - who dated TV personality Olivia Bentley first in 2020 - is said to be joining the hit Channel 4 show which sees dating experts help celebs strike up a romantic relationship.

A source told The Sun: "Celebs Go Dating bosses have a huge list of stars desperate to be on the show, but Tristan has stood out to them.

"He's got the whole package - he's good looking with a fun personality. He's likely to be with a hit with the ladies at the mixers and could even attract one of his celebrity co-stars, just like Olivia did."

OK! have contacted Channel 4 and Tristan's reps for comment.

Olivia and Tristan had a rollercoaster ride when it came to their love story as, after a year of dating, they originally called in quits in 2021. But they decided to give things another go and reunited in 2022.

However, fast forward to 2023 and the pair finally called it quits on their relationship for good after struggling to make it work.

Now, one year on since their heartbreaking split, it appears that Tristan could be considering whether he is ready to find love with the help of dating agents Paul Brunson and Anna Williamson.

This news comes after E4 recently confirming that Olivia, who joined Made in Chelsea in 2017, is stepping back from the show for now. A spokesperson told The Sun: "Olivia Bentley has been sharing her life with Made in Chelsea audiences for the past eight years and is now taking a short but well-earned break from the series to focus on her business – JOMO. We look forward to welcoming her back to the show later this year."

Olivia teased her break from the show in an exclusive interview with OK! last year, revealing that she wanted to focus on finding a husband.

"I’m retiring - I don’t know when," she said. "“It’s amazing but maybe it’s time for something else.

Adding that she wanted to "find a husband" and embrace family life, Olivia said: "I live on a small island and have a few kids. I want to focus on my wellbeing brand JOMO. I want to do more of that.”
