Made in Chelsea star reveals he's 'no longer friends' with Tristan Phipps after major row
The newest addition to Made in Chelsea, Sam Vanderpump has teased huge fallouts ahead of the show's return on Monday 15 April.
Sam reveals that there’s major drama between him and Tristan Phipps in this series. “I was surprised by the way Tristan acted in certain situations. It was disappointing,” he sighs. “Put it this way – we’re not friends any more.”
Tristan hasn’t been short of trouble in previous series with his on-off relationship with Liv Bentley, which ended last year.
Tristan was also involved with Yas Zweegers in the Corsica series before she decided to move forward with her relationship with Sam Prince - who Yas is still dating now.
Sam has also teased “a lot of kissing” and “scandalous” as he’s embracing the single life after ending a long-term relationship.
“I came out of a five-year relationship back in October and I was looking to have fun. I was open to romance – you’ll have to see what happens!”
The show is not short of relationship drama with Yas and Sam revealing there are “allegations” made about their romance in the upcoming episodes.
Sam might be new to the series, but he’s no stranger to the reality TV world with his aunt, Lisa Vanderpump. Lisa is a star of the US show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills - and gave Sam some advice ahead of the show.
Sam explained: “She said to be myself because I’ve got an amazing personality and to think before I speak, always keep your calm, keep your voice down and keep collected.
He then added: “Which I did do – for a good part of the series.”
Not only is Sam related to Lisa, he’s also got connections to royalty with his mum being the private chef of Prince Andrew.
Sam continued to explain that his mum, Simone, met his late dad, Mark, after Prince Andrew’s dog bit Mark.
“My dad went on to own a DJ agency – but in his mid-twenties was installing sound equipment in homes and was installing it at Prince Andrew’s place.
“The royal dog bit my dad and my mum had to bandage him up. They went out for dinner and I think they were engaged within a few months.”
While there are new faces joining Made in Chelsea, Liv won’t be returning for this series.
In March, a spokesperson from E4 told The Sun: "Olivia Bentley has been sharing her life with Made in Chelsea audiences for the past eight years and is now taking a short but well-earned break from the series to focus on her business – JOMO.”
Made In Chelsea airs Monday 15 April at 9pm on E4.
