Made In Chelsea star gives birth to baby 10wks early and shares cute name as she opens up about 'hardest times of our lives'
Emily Blackwell has shared a beautiful video of her baby daughter, who was born more than 10 weeks early but has now finally been allowed home. The Made In Chelsea star announced that Eva June Oldershaw was born on 3 November. Her video, set to Frank Ocean’s song Godspeed, features baby Eva in her incubator, being cuddled by dad Jordan Oldershaw and read to by Emily. The clip also shows Jordan carrying their baby out of the hospital in a car seat, and relaxing with her at home.
Alongside the video, Emily wrote: “After 53 days in the NICU our little miracle is finally home. Eva was born over 10 weeks early. To say the last few months have been the hardest times of our lives, would be an understatement. Not being able to take our baby home for 2 months, feeling totally out of control, sitting for hours staring at monitors, listening to the bleeping and alarms going off, not knowing what each day will bring.”
She continued, explaining how difficult the last two months have been. “Staring at Eva through an incubator with wires everywhere and feeling totally helpless, asking the nurses to help us hold our baby. This is not how I imagined it…However, Eva is one tough cookie and I’m so incredibly grateful she’s now here with us at home and healthy.”

Emily went on to thank the NHS and the staff at the Chelsea Westminster hospital. She finished by describing her daughter as one “strong little lady” and said: “Now it’s time to adjust and enjoy life as a family of 3 and soak up every single moment in our newborn bubble.”
She also thanked her fiance. “Jordan, you have been mine and Eva’s rock through all of this. There’s no way we could have done this without you. Juggling all this whilst running a business is no joke and everyday I’m so proud of you. (A bit soppy, I know) but watching the way you have been with our daughter has made me love you even more.”
Just over a week before Eva was born, Emily had been admitted to hospital with a “small bleed” and then was sent home to take it easy. She first announced her pregnancy just weeks after the couple announced their engagement. The 28 year old showed off her blossoming bump in a series of black and white pictures as she wrote: "It’s giving Mum and Dad. all we’ve ever dreamed of and more."
Jordan and Emily also revealed the baby's gender in a sweet video, which was filmed when she was 14 weeks pregnant. The couple stood in front of a colourful circle balloon arch in a sprawling garden. A large black balloon was placed in the middle of the balloon arch which read "boy or girl?" Holding two large pins, the parents-to-be popped the balloon and delightedly found out they were having a baby girl.
