Luxury Harrods beauty store confirmed to open second Scots store in Glasgow

Luxury beauty retailer H Beauty by Harrods is expanding its Scottish branches with a new store set to be opened in Glasgow.

Set to open in Silverburn's shopping centre, it will be located next to Zara in the former Debenhams unit in the main atrium. While the opening date remains unknown, it will mark the second H Beauty store for Scots shoppers.

Set to span 22,500 sq.ft, the store will be a beauty lovers heaven with a range of products from premium brands. It will also provide leading services from world-leading experts in beauty, hair, skincare and wellness all under one roof.

H Beauty is the standalone beauty concept created by leading luxury retailer Harrods. Its stores have also become noted for its addition of interactive play tables, skincare and makeup stations, as well as classy champagne bars that are perfect for Instagram.

Following the opening of its first store in Essex back in 2020, it now operates six standalone stores across the UK. The opening of Silverburn's own branch comes after the opening of the first Scots H Beauty that opened in Edinburgh's St James Quarter in 2021.

It comes as Harrods has begun to significantly invested in expanding its standalone beauty concept recently. The luxury firm has said that aims to "bring the Harrods beauty experience to new communities outside of London."

Silverburn's H Beauty will join a host of other retailers that have opened in the shopping centre recently. Mango and All Saints are just some of the names of leading fashion chain's to open up new stores, alongside new family-friendly restaurants and a King Pin Bowling set for next year.

H Beauty is not the only new store to be announced for Glasgow recently, as the Fort is also due to see a new Primark store this year. The fast-fashion chain announced it would be opening the new two-storey store on December 5.

Set to cover 33,500 sq.ft, Primark's latest store will offer a range departments from clothing to homeware, alongside a range of updated features. It will mark Glasgow's fourth Primark store and the 21st in Scotland overall.
