LoveShackFancy’s Pre-fall 2025 Collection Is Inspired by Its Jet-setting Customer
LoveShackFancy’s pre-fall 2025 collection is the ultimate ode to summer, with designer Rebecca Hessel Cohen paying homage to her jet-setting customer by taking inspiration from destinations like Capri, Saint-Tropez, the Hamptons and more.
“It’s our key LoveShackFancy core girl, and this year we’re calling her global goddess-meets-America’s sweetheart,” she said. “Like last year, we dived into a lot more about what our customers want. She’s always traveling. She is everywhere, from Saint-Tropez to Capri and also in America, and loves her July Fourth and loves her festive [clothing] and channeling that.”

The collection’s inspiration was reflected through LoveShackFancy’s tried-and-true design codes. There were airy white lace maxidresses inspired by Venetian tablecloths and floral print silky pajamas that Hessel Cohen described as perfect for “a lunch on Lake Como.” The styles carried on the understated vibe of LoveShackFancy’s spring 2025 collection, but stood out for the quality of the fabrics and subtle details.
Prints shined through, with a notable style being the brand’s custom postcard print that was designed with various hand-drawn fruit used in a slinky maxidress.
Hessel Cohen displayed her fondness for ornamentation with several beach-inspired pieces, like a seashell- and pearl-adorned dress that she stated took over 700 hours and 50,000 embellishments to create. The pieces were elevated, yet non-fussy.
LoveShackFancy rounded out the collection with a July Fourth capsule that gave a nod to 1950s pin-up girls with styles designed with hearts, cherries and gingham prints. The pieces displayed Hessel Cohen’s knack for taking what can be kitschy themes and giving them a modern and exciting feel.
“It’s really just what you dream about your summer wardrobe being,” Hessel Cohen said. “We’ve touched upon everything.”
