Friendship bracelets have become a key part of Taylor Swift's Eras tour, which has been enjoyed by fans around the world, and has now hit the UK.

And fans are sharing their love of Taylor's music with each other by exchanging handmade bracelets at the concerts.

Why are Taylor Swift fans making friendship bracelets?

It is believed that the original idea came from a lyric in the song You're on Your Own, Kid from Taylor's album Midnights, in which she sings: "So, make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it".

Fans are making bracelets spelling out Taylor's lyrics in alphabet beads, as well as titles of songs and other phrases to remember the tour by. The bracelets are then swapped between fans at the concerts.
