Love Island's Jess Gale split from Callum Jones 'after learning of betrayal'
Love Island's Jess Gale has revealed that she split from Callum Jones after she discovered that he had 'cheated on her with another Love Island star'.
The pair met on Love Island: All Stars in January of this year, and they went on to date before abruptly splitting in March, amidst reports of a 'huge argument' at Callum's ex-girlfriend Molly Smith's boohoo launch party in Manchester.
MailOnline reports that sources claim the split came after Jess, 24, discovered that Callum, 27, had been seeing another former Love Island star, Anna-May Robey, 21, behind her back.
Jess opened up to the publication on her split from Callum, as she said that it was 'her decision' to end the relationship after discovering something about him that left her 'shocked', with the pair no longer speaking after their bust-up.
Jess said: "Me and Callum are not speaking anymore. I've not said anything, well I haven't spoke to him in ages actually.
"I found out something prior to the event which I addressed and obviously it was a very public event, with a lot of people there so things got out. So we spoke at the event but the breakup wasn't because his behaviour at the event.
"It wasn't a blazing row it was just a conversation. And from then onwards we decided we aren't going to speak anymore."
She went on to say that after she and Callum broke up, they spoke "a little bit" but said that now she is just "happy to draw the line". She also cited life outside the villa as "different" when trying to make a relationship work.
A source claimed: "Jess was devastated… she was on her way to the boohoo event with this big cloud over her, she felt very hurt at the time.
"She had learned of Callum's fling with Anna-May, which came as a complete surprise to her, as far as Jess knew she and Callum were trying to make their romance work outside of the show.
"It was embarrassing how it all played out at a party and Callum proceeded to rub salt in the wound by leaving the venue holding another girl's hand." The girl in question was influencer Thea Thompson.
OK! has contacted Callum and Anna-May's reps for comment.
Meanwhile, Callum's ex, Molly Smith, is going from strength to strength in her relationship with Tom Calre, who she met on the All Stars show earlier this year.
The pair recently flew out to Dubai for for their first ever holiday together, where Molly even met Tom's sister, Laura, who lives in the city.
Molly has even revealed that she and Tom are now living together, despite only knowing each other for a few short months.
