Love Island's Harriet blames Ronnie for their villa exit in shock comments after savage double dumping

After they became the latest couple to be dumped from Love Island, Harriet Blackmore admitted she blames Ronnie Vint's behaviour on the show for their exit. The public had been voting for their favourite couple, with Harriet and Ronnie receiving the least amount of votes.

Harriet, 24, and Ronnie, 27, faced Grace and Konnor as well as Uma and Wil in the bottom three, with co-star Jess sadly revealing they'd been voted off the show. The couple had a rocky ride in the villa, with Ronnie being in couples with other girls, which Harriet believes may have contributed to their lack of votes from viewers.

As their stunned co-stars sat in silence, Ronnie said he'd "had a blinder" in the villa. However, Harriet said she was "so confused" and proceeded to say the exit was "down to Ronnie's behaviour".

In her exit interview, Harriet was asked why she thought viewers didn't vote for her and Ronnie. She said: "It’s hard because me and Ronnie have been in such a good place this last week. Maybe just the journey it took for us to get there. Obviously we had our date and re-coupled and stuff. But he was getting himself involved in all of these triangles!"

She also admitted she didn't think her and Ronnie would be at risk of leaving, with Grace and Konnor a more likely choice as they are currently in a friendship couple. She said: "I wouldn’t have thought it would have been us, I thought it would have been Konnor and Grace as they’re in a friendship couple."

However, Ronnie wasn't too phased by the lack of votes he and Harriet received. He said: "There isn’t too much thought into that for me; people vote and that’s the name of the game isn’t it."

The couple shared their hopes of seeing each other outside the villa, with Ronnie sharing his plans to travel to Brighton to visit Harriet. They also revealed they've been busy making plans in the villa with their fellow Islanders and plenty of trips to Ibiza have been mapped out.

Harriet and Ronnie's exit comes shortly before Love Island's iconic Casa Amor twist is due to return. The Islanders will be split up into boys and girls and placed in separate villas on Sunday, 30 June.

Six new girls and six new boys will arrive on the island, ready to make a play for the existing Islanders. The twist will see connections tested, with the Islanders have no idea what their other half is getting up to without them.

As of Friday, 28 June, the couples remaining in the villa are: Grace and Konnor, Jessy and Joey, Uma and Wil, Jess and Trey, Mimii and Ayo, Nicole and Ciaran, and Sean and Matilda.
