Love Island stars send bold message to Demi Jones after dropping out of Ibiza trip
Many reality TV stars have been partying in Ibiza as part of clothing brand SHEIN's latest campaign, including several Love Islanders. The TV personalities have been living it up at a string of boozy events, including a day at Wayne Lineker's iconic O Beach.
Among those soaking up the sun is ex-Love Islander Shaughna Phillips, 29, who has been documenting her trip on Instagram. She's also joined by fellow former Islanders Jess and Eve Gale, Olivia Hawkins, Liberty Poole, Georgia Harrison, Lucinda Strafford and Danica Taylor. However, one face notably absent from the girls' getaway was Demi Jones, who is best pals with Shaughna.
Demi, 25, opted to remain in the UK instead of partying in Ibiza, with Shaughna having a bold message for her regarding her absence. In a hilarious snap shared to her Instagram Stories, Shaughna posed with her middle finger alongside Olivia and MTV star Chloe Patton - who found fame on Teen Mom.
"POV: You're @demijones1 getting a FaceTime from the gals cause you didn't come Beefa," Shaughna jokingly captioned the shot. Demi didn't publicly respond to her pals' message.
Shaughna has been showing off her incredible figure after unveiling her weight loss transformation before jetting to Ibiza. The TV personality posed for a picture to show off the ‘before’ from her journey while in the second she lifted up a grey T-shirt to show off the ‘after’ results – admitting that she was “shocked” at what she’d achieved.
She wrote: “So this has been happening… I’ll be honest even I’m shocked So glad I’ve been taking pictures because honestly, when I look in the mirror, I don’t see any difference, your mind is your biggest enemy sometimes!. And although being accused of editing your pictures when you actually haven’t is the biggest compliment EVER, I haven’t edited the pic on the right, so I thought I’d include the actual Live Photo just for any doubters.”
The TV personality added that the results hadn’t happened “overnight” and that it was still a work in progress, though she was feeling proud of herself for what she had managed to achieve so far.
“I’ve been trying for a while to get into a better place with my health, mental and physical, so I must admit I am feeling b****y proud of myself today. I’ve spoken openly about struggling with my body image since I was a little girl (breaks my heart to even say that), so to be told I was seriously overweight at a doctors appointment wasn’t great,” she continued.
