Love Island's Elma Pazar has admitted that she lied about her age when she first appeared on the ITV2 dating show.

The Essex-based eyelash technician first starred in the reality TV series in 2019, and at the time, she was paired with Anton Danyluk.

She previously spilled the beans on the Love Island Morning After podcast with Kem Cetinay and Arielle Free about how she lied about her age.

The TV star said: “I lied about my age on Love Island. I tell everyone I'm 23, it's a real issue," only to reveal, "I'm 26, but now everyone knows it because they said they couldn't lie for me."

Interestingly enough, even at her true age, Elma wouldn't have been the oldest contestant. With an average age of 24 among the Islanders this year, several contestants are older than her claimed 23 years.

At the time, Amy Hart and Michael Griffiths were both 26, Arabella Chi, Anna Vakili, and Maura Higgins were 28, and Tom Walker was the eldest at 29.

Now 31-year-old Elma is hoping for another stab at romance as she’s set to enter the famous villa yet again in the second-ever All-Stars spin-off, starting on Monday.

Love Island fans are convinced they know who she will couple up with. Viewers claim that season two star Scott Thomas, 36, is her perfect match.

Taking to social media, one viewer said "Elma and Scott Thomas all the way. She will be great and I really want her with Scott Thomas they are both such down to earth people."

Another claimed: "Her (Elma) and @scott.thomas will fall in love.” Meanwhile a third added: “"Both happy, smiley, funny, out going people they are the perfect match."

Elma previously hinted at going on the show after turning down an appearance on series one. "I was asked to do All Stars and I didn't go on it,” she told The Sun.

"My friend Georgia Steel was going on it, and she was like, 'Why don't you do it?' but my head wasn't in the right headspace. Do you know what it is, I feel like I'm too old. I'm 31. I feel like I'm going to be a fossil and everyone else is going to be too young."

At the time, Elma admitted that she would consider returning to the villa for the second series of the spin-off. She said: "Maybe, who knows, if they ask me again - I know they cast in September, so maybe."

Love Island All Stars season two will premiere on Monday, January 13 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
