Love Island star lifts lids on heated unaired argument with islander
Love Island ’s Patsy Field wasn’t afraid to get into scraps when she was in the villa. The office worker and social media star stood up to Jess White over her treatment of Harriett Blackmore. However, she reveals that she also argued with Ayo Odukoya - but the squabble never aired.
Speaking exclusively to OK!'s Love Island Dumping Debrief - OK!'s weekly video series where the 2024 cast unpack the latest drama from the series - Patsy opened up on why her and Ayo clashed.
“We didn’t always see eye to eye. We had a few heated conversations that weren’t aired,” she said. “I was so close to [his love interest] Mimii Ngulube and then when Uma Jammeh came in, I thought he wasn’t being honest with them both.
Love Island fans were recently left fuming with Ayo , as they claimed he ‘rudely’ dismissed fellow Islander Mimii .
The pair hit it off straight away upon entering. However, the arrival of bombshell Uma sent a shockwave through the Majorca villa , when she took Ayo to the Hideaway. Uma then decided to couple up with the footballer, leaving Mimii single.
“I was very vocal and he didn’t like that. He said, ‘I’m a very private person,’ and I kept thinking to myself, ‘Babe, you’re on Love Island!’ You can’t go around saying one thing to one girl and another thing to another.”
During the week, Love Island's Ayo and Mimii enjoyed their first date. The duo were taken out of the villa on Wednesday night's episode for a romantic boat ride.
Mental health nurse Mimii, 24, and ex-footballer Ayo, 25, were spoiled with a luxurious boat trip, complete with a bottle of champagne.
Ayo even took control, navigating the boat through the crystal-clear waters of a Mallorca dock. The pair discussed their shared interest in religion and church-going, as well as his coupling-up speech.
Just three days ago, Ayo confirmed to Maya Jama on the spin-off show Aftersun that he was fully focused on Mimii. The Canning Town lad revealed that his connection with bombshell Uma was "dead now."
He said: "I wanted to know her a bit more, but I guess that's just a dead line for now."
Patsy also revealed who the secret smokers are for the class of 2024 . While appearing on the Not My Bagg podcast to discuss their villa experience, they were asked which Islanders vape and smoke. Patsy named Jess, Omar and Sean as smokers and admitted she also smokes as she said: "When I was talking to Munveer, he's such a clean freak."
She joked about having to brush her teeth after smoking to avoid putting Munveer off with her, "If I come in with fag breath it's going to put him off even more! So yeah, I just had brush my teeth afterwards."
