Love Island star fumes at builder who 'ripped him off and took his money' leaving renovation in disarray
Love Island couple Jessie Wynter and Will Young revealed a "disaster" with their ongoing renovation plans due to a clash with a builder. The duo, who rose to fame after meeting on the iconic ITV2 show back in 2023, opened up about their home renovations and the problems they've encounter with a builder who reportedly "ripped them off."
Farmer Will appeared at Tulley’s Christmas Lights event and shared an update on his and Jessie’s home renovations with The Sun ahead of travelling Down Under for Christmas. The star, who appeared angry at the situation told the publication: "We’re having a disaster. It’s a nightmare, so we’re renovating at the moment and our builder man has ripped us off and taken our money.
Turning his attention to the camera, he added: "If you’re watching this, we know what you’re up to."

Earlier this year, Jessie revealed the couple were building their own house on the farm as well as saying that they were proud owners of donkeys, alpacas, goats, pigs and lambs.
Will continued to tell The Sun: “We’ve got someone else in who will hopefully take on the work, but the only thing we needed to do before Australia was get the kitchen done and that’s now been pushed really, really far back.
“It’s a little bit worrying because we want to be in Australia in the next week or two. I might have to send Jessie home. I should get my dad to do the renovation instead."
Aussie beauty Jessie, 27, who relocated from Down Under, has been living with Will at his family’s 700 acre farm near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
Meanwhile, the couple have been fielding engagement rumours for quite a while now. Appearing together at the TV BAFTAS earlier this year they smooched for the cameras and confirmed that a proposal is imminent. Speaking at the event Will said: "There’s no maybe about it. One hundred per cent. We are doing that."
After Love Island, Will and Jessie went to Buckinghamshire, where Will had already made a name for himself on TikTok as he documented his day to day life on a working farm. The farm is located on his family's £1.6million sprawling estate.
Primarily specialising in sheep, according to the Financial Times, Will and his family have over 4,000 currently under the care, alongside five alpacas, who all bear the name of greek gods. Will himself also has two pet pigs, named Timon and Puma after the iconic Lion King duo.
"Having grown up on a farm, it's been quite difficult juggling relationships and work," he admitted in his pre-villa interview.
"Love Island will give me time away from the farm to solely go out and find love. I think I'm at that time of my life where I'm mature enough to go and find a wife.”
He added: "My mum didn't step on the farm for the first 20 years of my mum and dad's marriage! What attracts me is energy, if the energy is there, she can do whatever she wants.
"As long as she respects what I do and my busy times of the year, then that's all I need. If she loves it, bonus! But it's not a big issue for me."
Since leaving the villa in January 2023, Will and Jessie have split their time between the UK and Australia, with Will releasing his first book For the Love of Farming: Farmer Will's Guide to Life in the Fields last October.
