Love Island star drops 5st leaving fans gobsmacked by new look
Shaughna Phillips, who appeared on Love Island in 2020, has left fans shocked with her new and stunning look in a new Instagram video. The reality TV star is looking incredible after overhauling her lifestyle and focusing on healthy eating, having transformed her body over recent months.
Sharing her recent milestone with fans, Shaughna captioned the social media post - which featured a side by side image of her from 14 months ago and now, wearing the same outfit - with: "I won't lie, I still can't believe either of those people are me! "The real secret that no one told me before was you don't need to exercise your ass off (thank god!) I have been doing workouts, but only after I'd done no exercise AT ALL for a month."
Shaughna - who is mum to daughter Lucia - claimed that she lost a whopping five stone in weight by changing her metabolism. She continued: "I was told I needed to reset my metabolism. That's according to this amazing dietician I went to. So I just followed her eating plan for a month and only then started exercising again. The workouts I do are these fun combat routines that are only 12 minutes long."

The TV personality then revealed to followers that she has put together all the information she'd learned into a 'shred-it plan' for them to follow too.
Fans were gobsmacked with her transformation and rushed to the comments section. One wrote: "Absolutely smashed it girly!! Love to hear about you doing it for health reasons," while another said: "Well done, you look amazing."
This isn't the first time Shaughna has opened up about her weight loss journey as she previously shared 'before' and 'after' pictures in April, and admitting she couldn't believe the results.
At the time, she wrote: “So this has been happening… I’ll be honest even I’m shocked So glad I’ve been taking pictures because honestly, when I look in the mirror, I don’t see any difference, your mind is your biggest enemy sometimes!
“And although being accused of editing your pictures when you actually haven’t is the biggest compliment EVER, I haven’t edited the pic on the right, so I thought I’d include the actual Live Photo just for any doubters.
“I’ve been trying for a while to get into a better place with my health, mental and physical, so I must admit I am feeling b****y proud of myself today. I’ve spoken openly about struggling with my body image since I was a little girl (breaks my heart to even say that), so to be told I was seriously overweight at a doctors appointment wasn’t great,” she continued.
“This hasn’t been overnight, and I still have a way to go. The truth is, there has been weeks where I have found it so easy, and then there’s been months when I’ve seen no change, so I’m really trying to find what works for me, and I think I’m nearly there."
