Love Island row as 2024 star takes fresh swipe at ex
Love Island star Ciaran Davies has seemingly taken another dig at his ex-girlfriend Nicole Samuel following their surprise split earlier this month. Ciaran, who paired up with Nicole on the show, shared a series of photos from recent events celebrating his new single life.
He captioned the post on Instagram: "Just me living my best life in December." The photos included snaps from Christmas, a gym session, and a movie premiere in London, where he was joined by fellow Love Island alum Sammy Roots. Ciaran also shared a quote that read: "Lies are just a temporary delay to the inevitable."
Additionally, he reposted another quote on TikTok that said: "When IK [I know] they lying I just gotta see how stupid they think I am first." This isn't the first time Ciaran has appeared to make a jab at Nicole or his single status, as the two have been engaged in a public spat since their breakup.

Previously, Ciaran shared a cryptic quote on TikTok that read: "The truth always comes out in the end, no matter how hard anyone tries to hide it or stop it.The first news of the couple's split came with a confirmation that Ciaran and Nicole had parted ways " The couple's split was initially reported as amicable, but it seems things have taken a turn. A spokesperson for the couple revealed to The Sun: "Over the last couple of days Nicole and Ciaran have made the mutual decision to part ways. They have left the relationship on amicable terms, and will remain good friends going forward."
Speaking to Heat World in October, ahead of their split, the Nicole and Ciaran were asked if marriage and babies are on the horizon. Nicole said: “I think it’s too early to say if it’ll be soon, but who knows what’s in the future? If I didn’t think we were going to get married and have babies one day, we wouldn’t be together, so I’d say that’s definitely on the cards in the future. Ci would be an amazing dad.” Ciaran added: “We’d be great parents. I’ve actually already got a name for our baby boy – Dai Dave David Davies. Proper strong Welsh name.” Just days after the final, the pair confirmed they had already moved in together.
Ciaran moved into Nicole’s house in August after the show ended. But at the time, the pair admitted they hadn’t been able to spend too much time together because of their busy schedules. In another interview with Heat World, Nicole said they have been “hotel hopping” and hadn’t actually managed to “live” in the house together.
After the break-up, Nicole swiftly unfollowed Ciaran and removed his photos from her social media, suggesting that things might have turned nasty following their split.
It's also been confirmed that Ciaran is set to appear in the upcoming series of Celebs Go Dating. A source told The Sun: "He's signed a big money, five figure deal to appear on the show next year. Nicole isn't best pleased - it's the last thing she wants to see him dating on TV - but she knows it's his choice and will be good for his career."
