Love Island’s Harriett Blackmore takes swipe at rival girl with savage post after getting dumped
This year's Love Island is full of explosive moments - including Harriett Blackmore's 'ongoing feud' with fellow Islander Jess White.
Fans of the hit ITV2 dating show were left shocked when Harriett and Ronnie Vint were both dumped from the villa last week, after receiving the lowest number of votes by viewers choosing their favourite couple.
This shock elimination came after Ronnie left both Harriett and Jess in the lurch about who he liked. Now, it looks like Harriett has made a rather sly dig at Jess on Instagram.
In new pictures, taken behind-the-scenes of chat show Aftersun - hosted by Maya Jama - Harriett posed in a sheer black dress, and next to Ronnie.
She captioned the pic: "The real prize" - something that fans have picked up on that Jess call herself as in the villa.
The 24 year old from Brighton continued: "Had the best time ever at aftersun last night @loveisland @itvxofficial. Thankyou so much for having us".
But Harriett's swipe at her former 'rival' didn't go unnoticed with fans, with one commenting: "The caption. Ah I love her." Strictly star and TV presenter Saffron Barker added: "Say it again", with a third person writing: "the caption. Most iconic islander everrr get her on all stars".
Even former islanders from the same series came to her support, with Samantha Kenny calling her "a vision" while Patsy Field shared a string of cry-laughing emojis and hearts.
Despite trying to resolve their issues when they were both in the villa, Harriett and Jess just couldn't seem to make amends before Harriet was sent home with Ronnie.
She has also previously about her relationship with Jess in her exit interview. Harriett said: “I feel like from the beginning I’ve always tried to reach out to Jess and try and be there for her. I tried to rekindle our friendship after the Ronnie situation.
"Naturally, it’s going to be hard when you both fancy the same boy, there’s going to be a bit of tension, but I feel like I’ve always tried to be the bigger person in the situation. However, I did put my foot down and just walked away from that situation because some of the comments I didn’t agree with.”
