As if Joey Essex hadn’t already had enough drama in the Love Island villa, more is set to come his way as another one of his exes is on her way to Casa Amor.

Ever since Joey’s former flame Grace Jackson entered the villa, the two were inseparable, however, things all came to a blow when new bombshell Jessy Potts took the TOWIE star on a date, which well and truly turned his head.

Grace, who had a fling with Joey while on holiday in Ibiza, was left fuming and things only got worse when she found out the two had a kiss on the terrace. On Friday night’s episode she ended things for good. However, it may not be plain sailing for himself and Jessy now, as his ex, 30-year-old Emma Milton from Manchester, is on the way to Casa Amor, and Joey isn’t the only familiar face…

“I had a brief thing with Joey a few years ago,” she told ITV before her arrival. “We’ve been friends for years and I would be open to reconnecting with Joey. We get on really well and we have a lot of mutual friends. I am also friends with Grace in Manchester, so it’s a little bit awkward,” the Fashion Content Creator said.

If his reaction to his ex Grace walking in is anything to go by, Jessy may have a thing or two to be worried about with Emma.

The new bombshell definitely won’t take being in any love triangles as she’s revealed she’s now ready to settle down.

“I have travelled around the world, I have partied, I’ve been crazy but I feel like now I am at a stage in my life where I’m ready to find someone,” the star explained.

‌Joey isn’t Emma’s only ‘famous ex,’ as she was linked to Manchester City player Jack Grealish in 2021 after they were spotted getting close during a night out in the Northern city.

The infamous Casa Amor segment is set to start this Sunday, although it’ll be without the presence of Hariet Blackmore and Ronnie Vint, who were sent home during a shock dumping on Friday night’s episode.

Harriet and Ronnie were voted the ‘least favourite’ Islanders by the public, which meant they had to pack their bags and leave the villa. Although Harriet did say Ronnie's behaviour ‘was to blame’ for their shock exit, the two left in good spirits as they said they were happy to be leaving with each other.

Love Island airs Sunday 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
