Love Island exes Georgia Harrison and Anton Danyluk risk awkward run in as he shows off 'new woman'
Love Island exes Georgia Harrison and Anton Danyluk risked an awkward run in at the BAFTAs as Anton turned up to the red carpet with a gorgeous mystery woman on his arm.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, Anton remained coy when talking about his new love interest, as he said: "We're fine, we're good. Obviously it's not been long since splitting with Georgia so just back in the dating scene."
When asked if this was the moment he was going to go official with his new partner, he explained: "No, no. We're not at that stage yet," before saying that they are 'keeping things casual'.
Speaking about life after Love Island, Anton, who looked dapper in a black suit, slipped up as he said "love is good" and joked that he's got love on his mind.
He risked bumping into Georgia as they both posed up a storm on the red carpet. Georgia looked stunning as she put her taut stomach on display in a red gown with a jewelled mid-section.
Her blonde hair was swept back into an elegant up-do, whilst her makeup featured smoky eyes and a lipstick shade that matched her dress.
Georgia and Anton were coupled up on this year's Love Island All Stars, and they went on to date for a few weeks after the final, before calling time on their relationship.
Speaking on his podcast, What's the Crack, which he co hosts alongside his mum, Sherie, the 29 year old explained that he wanted his fans to "hear [about their break up] from the horse's mouth."
"In the press, a source said the distance was the issue, now we were in London every other week so I don't think distance was the issue," he said.
"Obviously that wasn't the case. I just wanted to clear up the whole break up in general," he stated, adding that when they came out of the South African villa earlier in the year, they "tried to give it a fair go." But ultimately, it just didn't work out.
Anton's mum Sherie then weighed in on the discussion, confirming that the ex couple did see each other a lot after All Stars ended. However, she then said that she "knew within that it was actually just a really really good friendship."
"I think the two of you got more into that friendship with each other," she mused.
Anton, who boasts 1.1 million followers on Instagram seemed to agree with his mother, adding that he didn't think there was "a romantic spark there." He was sure to note that both he and Georgia tried - and at times they noticed a spark - but there was "just not enough for it to continue as a relationship."
