Love Island 'carnage' as farm animals break into villa in major security breach

The Love Island villa has been invaded by a flock of sheep, with security having to step in to remove a couple of baby lambs that had managed to infiltrate the Majorcan estate.

To add to the chaos, a local farmer had attached bells to the animals' necks, which created such a racket that producers have been forced to edit out the noise from the recordings.

A source told the Mirror: "You might not think sheep are that loud but they are causing such a racket They keep clambering around where the producers are based and it's driving them mad. Some new baby lambs were born a few weeks ago and they managed to break into the villa.

"Security had to catch one that was causing carnage on a camera run it was running along the tracks. They made sure it was reunited with its mum. But they are giving everyone such a headache."

It comes as the latest episode saw Maya Jama make a surprise return to the villa to dump islanders Omar Nyame as well as Tiffany Leighton. This came as good news for Joey Essex, who had earlier confronted Omar for flirting with Grace Jackson.

The Islanders were completely taken aback during the episode on Sunday 23 June when host Maya unexpectedly strutted in and said: “Hello my loves. Did you miss me? Can you meet me by the firepit please?”.

Maya then told the Islanders: “Well, I didn’t come just to get all of the tea. I’ve got some very important news. The public have been voting for their favourite couple. The couple with the fewest votes are at risk of being dumped from the Island.”

As the newest members to the villa, Matilda Draper and Konnor Ewudzi were exempt from the vote.

The Islanders saved by the public were trying to reason with each other to why people should leave over the other. Harriet was left to explain their choice: "This wasn't an easy decision and there were a lot of things to consider. We love every single one of you. Obviously everyone has their own opinion, so it's hard - we all wanted to keep different people for different reasons.

"But the girl and boy we've decided to dump are Tiffany and Omar."

Earlier that day, Joey had pulled Omar up to accuse him of flirting with Grace, telling him: “Obviously mate, you’ve got to understand I am hearing things…Grace has told me you’ve said a few things. She’s told you to behave….apparently you’ve been flirting with her.”

Omar responded with with: “But at the same time I’m going about my business…then I’m asking what’s been said and I ain’t being told what’s been said. So, that’s annoying me even more now…" But it appears they will no longer have to try and see eye to eye, with Omar now dumped from the villa.
