Love Is Blind baby! Amber And Matt Barnett expecting first child together
Love Is Blind stars Amber Pike and Matt Barnett, who appeared on the 2020 series of the show, have announced they are expecting their first child. The duo announced the joyous news by appearing on the first episode of fellow Love Is Blind stars Lauren and Cameron Hamilton's The Love Seat podcast on Tuesday.
Giving a life update, Amber began: "I sent myself back to school because I felt like we were in a place where I could do that, like, I had the support and I was mentally there," before dropping the bombshell by saying: "Then, over summer break, he just went and knocked me up," while pointing to her husband Matt.
They later shared a clip to Instagram featuring a number of memories, with the last picture showing Matt standing behind Amber and cradling her bump. The caption read: "Where it started. Where we’ve been. Where we’re at…"

Taking to the comment section, fans were overjoyed at the first baby to come out of the show, as one wrote:"OMG THERE IS FINALLY GONNA BE A LOVE IS BLIND BABY?! YALL are my favorite along with Lauren and Cam clearly. But OMG!!"
"OMG!! The baby we have all been waiting for!!! Massive congratulations," wrote another, while a third said: "Omg congratulations guys!! I’m so excited for you both, I know I’m a complete stranger but I loved your love story and now in awe of your relationship."
Amber and Matt were on the first season of Love Is Blind, which was filmed in 2018 and aired in 2020. Despite finding one another on the show, Amber previously blasted Love Is Blind when a fan asked who their favourite couple from season four was, with Amber responding "we don’t watch LIB".
Surprised, the fan responded that Amber had found the "love of your life" via the show, to which Amber said: "We are together IN SPITE of that show not because of it."
Another follower questioned whether the couple had argued with the Love Is Blind producers, to which she responded: "I told them to stay away from us."
Despite finding themselves at the centre of the drama during Love Is Blind, the couple eventually tied the knot at the end of the hit show. They went on to move in together in Atlanta, along with their dog, Wolf. Amber and Matthew's marriage appears to have gone from strength to strength, despite the fact that during the Love Is Blind reunion they admitted they nearly parted ways during the early months of their marriage.
