Loose Women interrupted by huge bang during live show as presenter calls for sacking
Loose Women ran into difficulty during a live broadcaster, with presenter Sunetra Sarker jokingly calling for someone to be 'sacked' after being interrupted by a bang off screen. The Ackley Bridge star was at the helm of Loose Women's Thursday (2 January) show, with the actress joined by panellists Linda Robson, Dame Kelly Holmes and Kéllé Bryan on ITV1.
However, as Sunetra was introducing a competition segment on the show, the broadcast was interrupted by a loud bang behind the camera, with one panellists exclaiming, 'Oh!' Despite the unplanned disturbance, Sunetra quickly addressed it by saying, 'Sack the juggler!' The phrase is often used after witnessing someone accidentally drop a glass or another object.
Thursday's episode of Loose Women welcomed Coronation Street's Simon Gregson onto chat about the soap and his mental health battle - revealing that he's struggled with panic attacks for over 20 years. The soap star revealed that he nearly didn't go on the show after suffering panic attacks "all morning".

Meanwhile last month, panellist Linda Robson opened up about how her Christmas plans were changing after the end of her marriage to Mark Dunford in September 2023. The 66-year-old said in a previous episode of Loose Women that she was spending the day at her eldest daughter's house instead of her own.
"At my house there won't be any phones, well its not actually my house this year it's Lauren's house, but normally in my house it's no phones," she said. "So we take the phones off them until later that day and we have a nice peaceful family time."
She added that her grandkids are currently hooked on their mobile phones. "My grandchildren are addicted to phones. So Lila's 11, she's just got a phone for the first time. And Betsy's seven and Betsy is not allowed on her laptop until the weekend or any mobile phones and she's like on Monday, 'is it the weekend yet' and [Linda says] no we've got another five days."
Linda announced her split from husband Mark Dunford in a heartfelt chat at the time, revealing that she was "feeling fine" and trying to "keep busy". After over 30 years of the marriage and two children, Roberta, 27, and Louis, 31, the couple decided to call it quits.
During an interview with Woman magazine, she said: "He's a really good dad and we had some good years, but enough is enough. I'm not interested [in dating] honestly. I can't be a***d with all that."
Loose Women airs weekdays from 12:30pm on ITV1.
