Loose Women chaos as Kaye Adams reveals guest is 'not in the building'

Kaye Adams had to quickly step in with a warning for Loose Women fans when Nigel Farage, the British politician and jungle campmate from I'm A Celeb, was running late for his segment on the show.

The ITV hit show's audience and those tuning in at home were left hanging when Kaye announced that Nigel was not "in the building" at the time he was supposed to be on air.

Despite the hiccup, the panel, which included Kaye alongside Gloria Hunniford and Jane Moore, smoothly transitioned to discussing Dame Kelly Holmes' coming out story and the significance of Pride month.

Viewers at home, who were keen to see the Reform UK leader, took to Twitter to express their impatience, with one tweeting: "Bring Nigel on ffs."

Another posted: "The leader of @reformparty_uk is due on @loosewomenthis afternoon. @kayeadams says he's not currently there. Will @Nigel_Farage show up?," reports the Mirror.

But thankfully for viewers and for the Loose Women ladies, Nigel did appear on the hit talk show. But as soon as he sat down to discuss the upcoming election in the UK, Nigel was grilled.

Kaye firstly quizzed Nigel on homophobic and racist comments apparently made by a Reform UK member which was recorded by an undercover Channel 4 journalist while they campaigned for Nigel to become Clacton's MP. However although he disagreed with the terrible language and behaviour used, Nigel told the panel that the person behind the racial and homophobic slurs was an "actor".

He told the panel: "I saw the footage last night and thought no one speaks like that. It was just stream after steam, no one speaks like that. It turns out, he is an actor, I found his website. He's a well spoken actor and he does something called rough speaking."

But Kaye and Jane interrupted Nigel's trail of thought as they both were shocked that an actor would be hired to make the comments.

Seeing the chaos unfold on screen, fans headed to X to sharer their thoughts with some labelling the interview as a "car crash". One fan wrote: "Nigel Farage with an absolute car crash of an interview on #LooseWomen and Dame Kelly absolutely looks furious he’s on."

Another penned: "ITV desperately trying to get something on Nigel Farage. Constantly interrupting him, they are that desperate they're quoting his teacher from 1981. Embarrassing. Only reason I’m watching #LooseWomen is because of his interview."
