"We live in the heart of Shakespeare country but yobs make our lives hell"
Fed-up locals living next to a historic Shakespeare property say their lives have been made “hell” by drug dealers and anti-social yobs. Residents on South Green Drive in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warks., say they are too scared to leave their homes after dark. The leafy street - where house prices average £406,000 - is close to Anne Hathaway's Cottage, the wife of William Shakespeare. Residents living on the road were too scared to be named fearing reprisals, but say their lives have become “miserable”.
