It’s the music industry’s turn to demonstrate its fashion know-how and Little Mix undoubtedly won the best dressed list at the 2019 Brit Awards.

When the four-piece girl group – which includes ‘X Factor’ winners Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – took to the red carpet, fans gushed over their red carpet looks.

While Jesy opted for a sheer halterneck number, the rest of the band trialled every millennial A-lister’s go-to trend – the thigh-high split.

Zayn Malik’s ex-girlfriend Perrie posed for a photocall in a cold-shoulder navy dress alongside bandmate Leigh-Anne, who channelled the noughties in a wrap-around crop top and matching skirt.

In a bid to bag extra sartorial points, Jade chose a sheer leotard – another major trend successfully checked from the list.

So it wasn’t long until Little Mix fans took to Twitter to applaud the band’s latest look with many posting photographs from the band’s past red carpet appearances to emphasise their “glow up”.

One image dates back to their debut back in 2012 and depicts the group decked in sequins, neon and platform heels – a far cry from their newfound designer wardrobe.

Others simply rushed to the social media platform to praise the band’s latest aesthetic with many comparing the girl group to “Queens”:

At tonight’s star-studded ceremony, the band is shortlisted for two prestigious accolades with fans hoping they will scoop gongs for Best British Video and British Group.
