Lionesses Leah Williamson and Keira Walsh are twinning in black bikinis on holiday

After jetting off to Spain on vacation together last week, Leah Williamson and Keira Walsh have continued to keep fans in the loop with their vacay activities by posting regular updates and holiday pics on Instagram. Alongside a large group of friends who accompanied the pair on the trip, former professional footballer Alex Scott has also featured in some of the snaps.

The trip comes following the announcement of Sarina Wiegman's 23-woman squad for the upcoming 2023 Women's World Cup. Keira is set to represent England again in the tournament, while Leah is unfortunately unable to play due to the ACL injury she sustained back in April that subsequently required surgery. It's a well-deserved break for them both and allows Leah some much-needed R&R.

And in the latest pics shared by Leah, the two had a twinning moment in matching black bikinis.

Sharing first a photo of them both sat on a sofa in an Ibiza beach club, a second photo shows the footballers sunbathing on a boat. Lying on black towels, they both have on black bikinis and black sunglasses, and have pulled their hair into buns on the top of their heads. While Leah's swimwear is a classic triangle design, Keira has opted for a square neckline with thick black straps. Leah captioned the post "Family🫶🏼".

Fans were quick to take to the comments section, writing:

As well as messages showing love for the girls and their friendship, some fans included well wishes for Leah's recovery while others campaigned for Keira to join Leah as a member of Arsenal Women's Football Team. A few fans also made reference to one of their Lioness teammates, Georgia Stanway, suggesting she might be feeling left out. The trio are known to have a good friendship on and off the pitch.

Keira Walsh also took to her Instagram to post an update. Captioning the carousel of images "Best week 🤍" it seems to suggest the pair's holiday has come to an end – just in time for Keira to begin training for the FIFA Women's World Cup that kicks off on 20th July.

We're glad to see Leah and Keira had a great time away. And while the Lionesses get ready for the tournament, we'll be getting ready to cheer them on for a summer of football.
