Lily James has sparked speculation that she’s engaged to Matt Smith after she was pictured wearing a new ring on her wedding finger at the BAFTAs last night.

Their notoriously private relationship has survived four years of hectic schedules and now it seems the pair are ready to take it to the next level.

Lily and Matt were introduced after working on Pride, Prejudice and Zombies together in 2014 and have kept their relationship low-key ever since.

But last night Lily made no secret of showing off her new jewellery, paired with a flowing Burberry dress and black nails to keep in line with the unofficial Time’s Up and #MeToo theme of the event.

No official engagement confirmation has been heard yet, but that didn’t stop fans speculating.
