BAFTAs 2018: Jennifer Lawrence and Angelina Jolie lead best dressed celebrities
Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence and Lupita Nyong’o were among the celebrities that attended the BAFTAs 2018 in London on Sunday night.
In what was probably the most star-studded British Film and Television Academy awards of all time, celebrities congregated at Kensington’s Royal Albert Hall for the annual event.
And while the fashion was fierce, it certainly wasn’t colourful. The majority of the attendees – male and female – followed the Golden Globes’ lead and stuck to an all-black dress code decided upon a few weeks ago, in support of the Time’s Up movement.
However a couple of the ceremony’s guests chose to avoid the political stance – including the Duchess of Cambridge. Royals are traditionally not supposed to engage in politics and so swerved the suggested dress code in a bottle green Jenny Packham gown.
