Lily Allen talks hair nipple hair removal ahead of Brits 2019 after party

Behind the flurry of camera shutters and seemingly glamorous red carpet photocall, Lily Allen proved she’s just like one of us after sharing her intimate grooming regime with fans.

Ahead of the 2019 Brit Awards after party in London last night, the singer took to Instagram Stories to get candid about body hair removal.

Filming from a bathroom, the 33-year-old revealed that her make-up artist, Georgie, was removing her nipple hair ahead of the A-list event.

“Georgie is literally plucking hairs out of my nipples and I didn’t even know they were there,” the singer revealed in the clip. “I didn’t even know they were there because I haven’t looked at my nipples in so long!”

The last-minute beauty hack was to ensure that she was fully prepped for her after-party ensemble which consisted of a nude leotard and sheer feathered dress – a trend that’s sure to stick around a little longer by the looks of last night’s red carpet.

For the star-studded ceremony, the mother-of-two demonstrated how to wear winter florals in a Coach dress with a black poker-straight wig to finish.

The singer was nominated for the British Female Solo Artist award but lost out to Jorja Smith.
