Leeds bar offering pizza and cocktails for under £15 with tranquil views
January can be a challenging month for many reasons.
For quite a lot of us, it tends to be that the festive season has left us in financial ruin. A nice thing, in a way, as it means we’ve likely spoiled those nearest to us…and hopefully indulged ourselves, ever-so-slightly.
But, once the fairy lights are back in the loft, those cold nights can feel a little bleaker. Of course, the general lack of readies takes a hit on the hospitality sector also.

Thankfully, many establishments have the wherewithal to offer deals and incentives to give us a much deserved cheap treat. Across Yorkshire, we’ve seen a rich abundance this January and during a recent visit to Leeds, I stopped at Water Lane Boathouse.
For those that don’t know, the quaint Water Lane Boathouse is nestled behind Leeds Train Station in Canal Wharf. Offering lovely tranquil views, the venue has a host of deals to enjoy this January.
They include 50 per cent off pizzas all day on Sundays, every day for the foreseeable there’s a selection of two-for-one cocktails (these have to be two of the same beverage) and pints of Amstel for £3.50.
There’s also 50 per cent off Monday to Friday on a selection of meals. These include burgers, salad and pizzas. During my Tuesday afternoon lunchbreak, my order consisted of a margherita pizza with two fruity cocktails - all coming to a grand total of £14.95.
Two people (or just yourself, if you please) being to head out and enjoy a good quality offering, in a wonderful setting for under £15 really is stuff of dreams at this time of year. Everything came very efficiently, should you only have a lunchbreak to spare.
