And never arrive at all. That’s because some Lay’s chips are only released in other countries, making the hunt for new flavors all the more thrilling (or frustrating, depending on how you look at it).
Well, there’s good news for Lay’s flavor-seekers: The hunt for one international fan favorite is over. What’s more, it’s a flavor U.S. fans have been begging for for years, but one that has only been available north of the border in Canada until now. You can put down your petitions and stop starting Reddit threads, because the wait is finally over.

Canadian snackers have been enjoying Lay’s All Dressed chips for years and now, for the first time ever, Americans will get to do the same. Lay’s listened to countless requests from its U.S. fans—the brand said in a press release that All Dressed was its most-requested flavor—and soon, you’ll be able to find these chips nationwide.
For those who don’t know about All Dressed, these chips are pretty incredible—in fact, they’re the absolute best Lay's flavor, if you ask our editors. Sweet, savory, and tangy, they feature a flavorful mix of Barbecue, Salt & Vinegar, and Sour Cream & Onion, all in one chip.
Technically, it won't be the first time some All Dressed chips have come stateside. FritoLay debuted Ruffles All Dressed chips back in 2015, then later discontinued them in 2021. Just this fall, Ruffles brought All Dressed chips back to American stores for a limited time, much to fans’ delight. Needless to say, we’re more than happy to have this snack back thanks to Lay’s recent release.
And don’t just take our word for it—fans across the internet love this flavor combo. On one Reddit thread, someone called All Dressed “the absolute best chips Lay's has ever done,” while another agreed that these are their “absolute favorite.” The thread also had many fans discussing where to find the flavor, with some saying that they’d “been wanting to find them” since they’d “only seen them in Canada.”
That is until Jan. 12, when this flavor will become available at retailers nationwide. Lay’s All Dressed chips will be available in a 2.5-ounce bag for $2.69 and a 7.75-ounce bag for $4.99. It looks like our 2025 snacking is about to get a serious upgrade, eh?
