Lady Gaga stole the show once again at this year's Venice International Film Festival in a dramatic masked headpiece and gown ensemble on Wednesday (4 September).
The star turned heads as she stepped onto the red carpet for the premiere of her latest film, Joker: Folie à Deux wearing a structured lace headpiece by Philip Treacy and custom Dior gown. Always one to step up to the mark when it comes to dramatic dressing (remember that iconic meat dress?), Lady Gaga finished the look with a pair of towering platform boots.
Lady Gaga's latest look was a stark contrast to the day before when she arrived at the festival in a classic polka dot dress, exuding understated glamour.
The star looked fabulous in the silky, long sleeve dress featuring a tied waist and structured skirt. Lady Gaga added a chic pair of dark sunglasses and finished the look with a half up, half down hairdo with a plaited bun.
Lady Gaga added a pair of grey tights under her dress, which were from brand Calzedonia and the exact pair are available to buy online for less than £10:
The main accessory of note, however, was what appeared to be a large oval diamond on Lady Gaga's ring finger. The singer and actor arrived with her beau, entrepreneur Michael Polansky and the couple looked loved up as they strolled around hand in hand and were seen kissing in a boat.
Rumours of the pair's engagement began when Lady Gaga referred to Michael as her fiance during the Paris Olympics (according to Harper's Bazaar), where she performed, and many are speculating that the displayed ring is the final confirmation.
Also at the festival were other cast members from her latest film, Joker: Folie à Deux which sees Lady Gaga play her interpretation of Harley Quinn alongside Joaquin Phoenix's dark Joker, in the sequel to the character's origin story.
The star's polka dot dress is reminiscent of one of our favourite looks from Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, as worn by Demi Moore.
