Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and ‘Madame Web’ score nominations at the 2025 Razzie Awards
With Oscar nominations just around the corner, the Golden Raspberry Awards, which recognise the worst of the year in film, has revealed its nominees for 2025.
Leading with a total of seven nominations is Joker: Folie à Deux, the disastrous Joker sequel which was both a box office and critical bomb upon release last September. Both lead actors, Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix, scored nominations, and the film was also nominated for Worst Picture, alongside Madame Web, Reagan, Borderlands and Megalopolis.
Jennifer Lopez also picked up a nod in the Worst Actress category for her role in Netflix’s Atlas. Despite her enormous success in film, Lopez is one of the most nominated actors in Razzie history with a total of 13 nominations to her name – just one more than ex-husband Ben Affleck.
Rounding off the pop-stars-cum-actors field, FKA twigs was nominated in Worst Supporting Actress for her appearance in The Crow. In the Worst Supporting Actor category, Jon Voight is nominated just once but for his appearances in four films – Megalopolis, Reagan, Shadow Land and Strangers. Meanwhile, Voight’s estranged daughter Angelina Jolie is in contention for a Best Actress nomination at this year’s Oscars for her role in Maria.
