Kourtney Kardashian Pushes Back Against Pressure to 'Bounce Back' After Giving Birth: 'Try to Be Kind'

The mom of four welcomed her baby Rocky Thirteen in November

Kourtney Kardashian Barker is sharing an important message to new moms.

On Sunday, April 7, the Lemme founder, 44, reshared her most recent Instagram photo on her Stories and penned a meaningful message above the photo to "new mommies."

"Your body is beautiful at all stages. During pregnancy as we are glowing and growing, postpartum as we are healing and shrinking, and then that period I find the hardest as our bodies are still adjusting," Kardashian Barker wrote.

"And if you're breastfeeding, that's a whole other part of it. I try to be kind to myself as my body finds a new normal. The pressure put on us to bounce back when everything is new and different isn't realistic. Life is beautiful, you are beautiful. Just a little reminder (for me too;) XOXO."

Kardashian Barker is mom to son Rocky Thirteen, 5 months, whom she shares with husband Travis Barker. She is also mom to sons Mason, 14, and Reign, 9, as well as daughter Penelope, 11, whom she shares with ex Scott Disick.

In March, the mom of four shared a carousel of photos on Instagram that gave a peek at her baby son Rocky. Kardashian Barker and her Blink-182 drummer husband could be seen walking their son as he rested in his blue Cybex stroller, which she highlighted in a later slide.

At the end of the post, Kardashian Barker showed off the epic stroller in its entirety. The teal and silver stroller looked like a normal carrier at the front, but the back sported taillights and a bumper, taking inspiration from a vintage car.

She also included a close-up of her toddler son's hand as he played with his dad's necklace, as well as a picture of herself pumping in a lacy bodysuit. "That's life," Kardashian Barker simply captioned her post.

Earlier that month, Kardashian Barker rounded up her time in Australia in a series of photos shared on her Instagram. The proud mom shared pictures with her son Reign and daughter Penelope as they enjoyed their time down under, as well as a photo of Rocky's tiny foot while they flew home.

"Feeling so grateful for every single second of time with my babies," the proud mom wrote in her caption. "Rare to get 2 full weeks of 24/7 time as they get older! Thank you Australia for the beautiful memories (minus the spiders)."
