Fans celebrate Kourtney Kardashian, 43, marrying later in life: 'Hope for everyone'
Kourtney Kardashian fans are celebrating the reality star finding love later in life. Kardashian married Travis Barker in a divisive Dolce & Gabbana outfit in Portofino on 22 May surrounded by their closest friends and family.
The event marked the third time the couple, affectionately known as Kravis, has celebrated their commitment to each other, having also "wed" in an unofficial wedding in Las Vegas last month and a legal ceremony at a courthouse in Santa Barbara, California.
Shortly after walking down the aisle Kardashian, 43, shared a series of photos from their romantic wedding ceremony, simply captioning the shots "happily ever after." The mum-of-three's joy hasn't gone unnoticed by fans on social media who expressed their delight that Kardashian has found true love in her 40s.

Previously in an off-again/on-again relationship with Scott Disick that spanned over a decade and with whom she shares three children, Kardashian hasn't been married before.
But the announcement of her engagement and subsequent three weddings, has highlighted to many that you can't put an age on finding love.

When her ex Disick proposed, Kardashian didn't accept, perhaps believing that the relationship wasn't going to last the distance.
Instead, she seemed to have opted to wait, focus on her children, while also maintaining a good relationship with their father until the right relationship came along.

Of course this might not have ever been her priority, but the fact that she seems to have met her Mr Right is giving many fans cause for celebration.
"Kourtney found love after having three kids and multiple failed relationships, there is hope for everyone," one user wrote on Twitter.
"Kourtney Kardashian just married the love of her life at 43 years of age after years of refusing to settle… the right person is worth waiting for," another agreed.

"Kourtney Kardashian is one of the many proofs that you can be with someone for years wasting your time and then you meet someone new who can become your soulmate and change your whole outlook on life in no time," yet another fan wrote.
"Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are proof that you can find true love at any age," one more user tweeted.
While another commented simply: "Kourtney Kardashian found the love of her life in her 40s . Still hope".
Kardashian's story of finding love when you're slightly older is no doubt a joyous one, but thankfully it is not particularly unique.
While the reality star has actually never been married before, around 40% of all weddings in the UK are second or subsequent marriages, suggesting a trend for later-in-life unions.

And 40-somethings aren't the only ones embracing more grown-up love, with statistics from the ONS revealing the number of brides and grooms aged 65 has went up by 46% in a decade.
If you think about it, this makes sense, because by age 35, 40, 50 and beyond, you likely know exactly what you want and don’t want in a relationship and aren't going to settle until you find it.
Reasons citing for the rise in older age marriages include an ageing population, rise in divorce leading to second time love and older people being more connected both economically and socially.
Of course, Kardashian isn't the only celebrity to cement their love in a later life marriage.
After Bruce Willis' high-profile marriage then subsequent divorce to Demi Moore, the Die Hard star met his second wife, Emma Hemming.
Despite their 23-year age gap, he was 54 when the pair tied the knot and they now share two children together.
Meanwhile, George Clooney was 52 when he swapped his bachelor life for happy ever after walking down the aisle with human rights lawyer, Amal Alamuddin.
Salma Hayek had just turned 40 when she announced her engagement and pregnancy with French businessman, François-Henri Pinault, whom she met on a blind date.
The couple tied the knot when she was 42 and he was 46.
Cameron Diaz is also offering proof you can find love at any age, having married Benji Madden in 2016 when Diaz was 42 and welcoming a daughter in 2020.
