Kim Kardashian works a lip ring and skintight Rick Owens dress at Impact Awards

Kim Kardashian has worn some dubious outfits over the years, but the combo the reality star worked at this weekend’s Family Equality Council’s Impact Awards hit a style high note.

For the occasion, the mum-of-two slipped into a £644 skintight white dress by controversial fashion designer Rick Owens.

The strapless number swept the floor and showcased Kim’s famous frame.

Kim completed the paired-back look with oversized hoops and wore her hair in a ponytail at the nape of her neck. But it’s her edgy lip ring that’s got everyone talking. No one knows whether it’s real or fake – perhaps she borrowed it from her niece Penelope Disick who caused a stir in the parenting community when she sported a similar ‘piercing’ last month.

Either way, we hazard a guess the look is about to be everywhere. After all, Kim is nothing if not a trend-setter.

The 36-year-old was at the event to present at award to ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ exec producer Jonathan Murray and his longtime partner, Harvey Reese.
